We are very careful in suggesting the right kind of trek depending on the weather & time in hand and the fitness level of our guests. Beginner to experienced trekker, there is plenty of trek routes for everyone.
Bandal to Sharchi
Through forest & farm land
It will take approx. 5 hours to be back. This includes 1.5 hours of easy -up climb through the forest / fields & another 1 hour downhill walk to be back. At Sharchi one can explore the village, have lunch / picnic. We can try to organize some hot and fresh RajmaChawal or Meat Chawal in the village.
Chhoie Waterfall
Via Basheri - dharagaad village – waterfall
From the property it takes 2 hrs to the waterfall. So in total 5 hrs should be good to go and come back. One can carry tea flask and some snacks to enjoy at the waterfall.
Bandal to Gushaini
Through road and steps
It will take approx. 40 minutes to reach down to Gushaini. (you can always compete and try to beat the villagers, they take 15 minutes). One can spend some couple of hours by the serene Tirthan River or do some shopping in the Gushaini market. Fishing enthusiasts can carry their rods and learners can take fishing lesson from the paid guide. And on way back one can either come in a taxi or the fitter ones can actually climb back in an hour (villagers take 30 minutes)
Trek to National Park gate
It’s a full day event to trek from Gushaini to the gate and back. It’s quite an easy trek, provided one is ready to walk for approx. 9 kms.
All through the trek one gets great views of Tirthan River, crosses villages and with just one or two shops for tea or snacks break.
